Liv & Brett

Olivia and Brett, what a sweet couple!! I have had the privilege of not only knowing Olivia for the past 14 years, but being best friends with her. She is spunky, loving, and is the sweetest person ever! We met at soccer practice when we were 6, and realized we went to the same school and have been inseparable ever since. When Olivia told me (almost 3 years ago) that she was going to date Brett, I was STOKED for her, we were both going into relationships at the same time and were so excited to be grown up and going on dates! He has been away in Hawaii serving in the Army for the past 2 years and they have been doing long distance this whole time. I heard that Brett was coming home for a while on this holiday break and I knew that the perfect present for Olivia was giving her a couples session. So we went out for an hour in 30 something degrees and ran, jumped, danced, and laughed to get these beautiful pictures. Although Brett has to go back in the next few days, I wanted Olivia to remember what it FELT like to have him home when she looked through these pictures, and that is what we tried to achieve. Real, raw emotion. Not posed, just how they really are. These photos showed the love that these two have for each other, and I am so glad I was able to capture this moment in time.
